High Rate of Collection Complaints From Service Members: CFPB

PaymentsSource

The CFPB released an annual report Tuesday that revealed service members have been submitting debt collection complaints at nearly twice the rate of non-military consumers.

Interesting article on the rise of complaints by service members. As a former insurance follow-up specialists I saw a lot of medical claims go to patient liability that should have paid by VA.
I'm curious to know if any of my fellow medical collection agencies, or any other agency, have done any studies on consumer's advising they were on active duty at the time or the claim should have been covered by the VA?
