Have any of you implemented noise canceling (white noise) or sound masking systems in your call centers? Any recommendations for systems to look at?
Thanks in advance,
Hi Scott Kendrick ,
It's a great thought and when we started our journey with CM we thought about it and some of the ideas were like changing to a better headphone, creating cubicles for agents and upgrading to more advanced recording systems. Although, I do not have the name of the company's involved.
Not at the office but at home I use the following little machines: https://www.amazon.com/Marpac-Dohm-DS-Natural-Sound-Machine/dp/B00HD0ELFK
We have one in each of the kids' bedrooms, and they provide a nice white noise that drowns out adult life in the living room (it's pretty awesome to be able to watch movies at regular volumes). We use these while traveling as well since hotels can be quite noisy at times. The noise can be "shaped" by adjusting a number of openings and the fan speed. White noise coverage is about 15-20 foot radius, so it would probably work well for a few cubes at a time in an office setting.
